Mark Edward Interiors
Where old is beautiful, raw has charm, and flaws and blemishes are welcomed, Mark Edward Interiors is an eclectic emporium filled with quality, one-of-a-kind vintage furniture pieces waiting to find a new home.
From well-sat church pews to chunky carpentry benches, aged apothecary drawers to plush mid- century arm chairs, each item in the showroom has been lovingly restored by owner and former joiner, Mark.
Mainly industrial and utilitarian with items salvaged from factories, schools, workshops and offices, there are also vintage pieces from Edwardian antiques to retro 70s.
Sourced from across Europe including France, Hungary and the Ukraine, each item is original, with Mark reinstating their former glory while keeping the distressed appeal.
Since restoring an old French sideboard in his garage a few years ago, Mark now supplies national retailers such as Fat Face with clothing displays and opened his Barnsley showroom in June for the public to visit.
Designed to inspire people to envisage items in their own homes, the welcoming showroom has been lovingly thought of with room displays, striking accessories and even a wall made from corrugated farmhouse roof sheeting.
